One of my favorite seasons of the year would have to be summer! Everything is so beautiful, and the weather is warm, and I get to wear really cool t-shirts!! How can you go wrong when you can throw on a cool t-shirt and head out with your friends for an occasion? I also like to spend time exploring new places around the area I live, and recently a friend and I were out on a scroll looking for a place to eat lunch and we came upon this pretty awesome wall with some crazy cool graffiti!! Yes, I know that I wrote crazy cool, but how can you not when you stumble across some awesome graffiti that is just like a piece of art. I’m not sure who the artist is or why they chose to put this art on a hidden wall, but I wasn’t about to pass up a chance to take pictures with it.
The fact that I was wearing one of my of my favorite outfits was like icing on top of my favorite strawberry cake! At this point, there was no way of hiding the excitement I had to get to take pictures with this graffiti. I mean who stumbles across graffiti on a casual lunch day, right? So I was wearing my long green t-shirt from H&M, which has really become one of my favorite shirts. You wouldn’t believe that I caught this baby on sale for only $8.99. And you know me; I had to scoop up at least four in different colors! I paired it with a light colored pair of chino slim fit pants that I also caught on sale at H&M for $12.99. The thing I love about H&M is they have really cool clothes that are a reasonable price, so if you need to pick up something for a special occasion 9 times out of 10 you can find something there.
I gave the look a little low-key personality by adding my classic slip-on yellow Vans with multi-color stripes, just because they normally add a little flare to a casual look. This is such a versatile outfit that you could add any pair of your favorite shoe and it would still look great. I decided to accessorize a little by adding my love book necklace and a pair of black sunglasses, both bought from eBay for less than $8.00. Sometimes you just need to keep it simply casual, and in doing so you might stumble across something really cool and find yourself walling around for hours just to stare at it!! -JT
